Property description

On the other hand, an extension of the project has been presented in accordance with the new regulations which allow the construction of a house of up to 450m2 of constructed surface.
The plot has a total area of 15.562m2 and is located just 700 metres from the square of the charming village of Costitx, in the centre of the island of Mallorca.
The projected house will have a total built area of 230m2 distributed over one floor.
This marvellous house will consist of entrance hall, living-dining room, open plan kitchen, two double bedrooms with dressing room, both with complete bathroom en suite, a guest toilet, separate laundry room and pantry and garage for two cars.
Outside you will be able to enjoy a fantastic swimming pool with a 35m2 water mirror and a private garden and terraces.
The property has its own water well and is connected to the municipal water supply. Mains electricity is available at the foot of the property and it would only be necessary to request the connection to the corresponding company.
Magnificent opportunity to acquire a plot of land, situated in a quiet area of the village of Costitx and with very easy access from the village, together with the project of a wonderful house with swimming pool with beautiful and unobstructed views.
Location and surroundings:
Small inland municipality in the centre of the island, in the Pla de Mallorca region. Costitx is the smallest village in the region, with a quiet, peaceful atmosphere. Highlights: the parish church of Santa Maria, from the 18th century; the chapel of Mare de Déu; the cistern from 1886, where water was stored for the inhabitants of the village and the well and waterwheel from the Muslim period, on the outskirts of the village.
But the most outstanding feature of Costitx is the number of archaeological sites in the area. Proportionally, it is one of the villages in Mallorca with the most archaeological remains per square kilometre. Of all the nineteen archaeological sites, the sanctuary of Son Corró stands out, dating from the post-Talayotic period, around the 4th century B.C., discovered in 1894. Among all the findings, the three bronze bull's heads that are kept in the National Archaeological Museum in Madrid (replicas are kept in the village's Casa de Cultura) stand out. The sanctuary is located on the road from Sencelles to Costitx (km 2.8), is signposted and can be seen from the road. For those interested in archaeology, the sanctuary is part of the Sencelles-Costitx Archaeological Route, which includes other sites. The route is signposted and can be covered on foot or by bicycle.
