Playa Alcanada or Aucanada is a quiet beach, little frequented by tourists, which is located in the north of the bay of Alcudia. The beach is about 700 metres long and up to 20 metres wide, and is best known for the large pine trees that reach the shore and provide natural shade on a large part of the beach. It is perfect for those looking for a place to stroll or take a dip in its calm, warm waters.

On the island of Alcanada is the Alcanada lighthouse, which dates back to 1861. At low tide it is possible to walk across the strait and reach the island on foot. A real spectacle worth seeing and photographing.
